01 / COVER

Your cover changes.

Enemy buildings and rocks crumble where they are shot. Even a wall that was safe a moment ago can get holes. Watch the durability gauge and how things break, and decide on your next cover in advance.

Your own facilities let friendly shots through and stop enemy shots. Reload in cover and shoot from the edge. Rather than staying put in the open, shift your line of fire as you trade shots.

02 / LOADOUT

Carry all you can? Or only what you need?

Anchor the defense

Use the Power type's health and load capacity to lock down lines of fire with machine guns and bazookas. Plan where the ammo depot goes, too.

Go for the flank

Equip the Speed type lightly and avoid the enemy's front. In Breakthrough, have teammates cover the one heading for the flag from another line of fire.

Fill the gaps

Use Balance or Custom to cover roles your team is missing. Split up sniping, close range, and demolition, and build a loadout that doesn't lean too hard on one kind of weapon.

03 / FRONTLINE COMMAND

One plan beats one wall.

Tactics diagram: the ally on the left covers from the front while the ally on the right circles to the flank via the rocks

When lining up rock walls, keep paths open for your teammates and a way to retreat. Put ammo depots where you can resupply on the way to the front. After placing everything, look over the whole field so you don't block vehicle routes.

Post short, specific orders in team chat, like "Hold the left" or "Two of us push from the right." The minute before battle is your chance to cut down your squad's hesitation.

04 / SQUAD TECHNIQUES

When you gather is your trump card.

Team moves need enough members and morale. Gathering doesn't make you safe by itself. Consider the risk of bunching your team in one spot, and get ready behind cover before you unleash one.

Teamwork flow: gather, check members and morale, unleash the team move, then spread out again

Pick the move that fits your goal, such as cartwheel fire in a line, reviving a teammate with a prayer, or charging in formation. You can check the required members and conditions in the team move panel on the battle screen.
