Learn Backgammon

Review the goal through a picture story, then work through the chapters you need one at a time.

Backgammon goal (What is Backgammon?)

A two-player game in which you roll two dice, move your checkers, block your opponent, and win by bearing off all your checkers first.

Scene 1 Advance only by the dice roll You may use the two dice on separate checkers or on the same checker in sequence. Make sure the destination is not blocked by an opponent's point.
Scene 2 Bear Off All Your Checkers Once all 15 checkers are in your home board, use the dice roll to bear them off. The first player to bear off all their checkers wins.
Scene 3 Hit a single opposing checker A lone opposing checker is a blot. Landing on it sends that checker to the bar.
